Ha! With the hustle and bustle of school I managed to update The Nexus comic once, then never again last semester. This year we'll kick it off right by putting up all I've missed so far and hopefully I'll still have the gumption to

A snowy and rainy sunday, I got tarts though so it's all good.

I got some paper specifically for using markers and I'm learning the effects they have on this paper. For one, they don't blend perfectly like when they bleed through the paper, but I think I can make up for it by using highlights for colours instead.

This is a character for the upcoming book I'm making. Still haven't decided if I've nailed his design down or not. I'll just keep drawing him until I feel satisfied!

I'm taking a perspective course for the first time, and it feels like stepping through to another world when you can draw something sharing the same area as another. I've never really thought about it before, but it's a truly magical thing.
