A snowy and rainy sunday, I got tarts though so it's all good.

I got some paper specifically for using markers and I'm learning the effects they have on this paper. For one, they don't blend perfectly like when they bleed through the paper, but I think I can make up for it by using highlights for colours instead.

This is a character for the upcoming book I'm making. Still haven't decided if I've nailed his design down or not. I'll just keep drawing him until I feel satisfied!

I'm taking a perspective course for the first time, and it feels like stepping through to another world when you can draw something sharing the same area as another. I've never really thought about it before, but it's a truly magical thing.

Another dreary Sunday where I have not much else to do. Here's a doodle I did! I was thinking about student loans and comic school. Also making my own kimchi.

Quilt progress! I've gotten the top together with some minor mishaps. Next is just quilting the rest of it together! I put this aside because I thought I messed it up so much I hated it. Turns out I'm actually quite proud of it!
